Bethany Holloway | Clinical Psychologist

Bethany Holloway

Rosebery: Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Becoming a psychologist has evolved through years of passion, goal-setting and self-discovery. I have always been interested in the different experiences every human has in our world, and how we navigate challenges that come our way. It is a privilege to learn about, support, collaborate and engage with people from various walks of life and to understand their thoughts, emotions and personal journeys. I am committed to creating a space where individuals feel comfortable, safe and understood. In sessions, I endeavour to bring warmth, curiosity, transparency, respect, flexibility, and patience. Recognising that each person is unique, I focus on understanding strengths, goals and needs, and building a foundational therapeutic alliance to facilitate reflection, intervention and mutual learning.

Throughout my career, I have supported people experiencing anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, personality disorders, anger, identity challenges, substance use, psychotic episodes, grief and trauma. I have worked with individuals across broad age groups and from diverse backgrounds in both public and private settings. I am trained in various therapeutic modalities, and I primarily integrate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing into my practice.

When not at work, I enjoy looking after my cats, cooking, and spending time outside, often swimming or cycling.
